The Show has been running in its current format since 2008 and is held in the Village Hall, on the 1st or 2nd Saturday in September. The organisation is undertaken by a small group of volunteers, whose principle aim to is to provide a community based and enjoyable event for residents of Kensworth and the neighbouring villages.

Over the years various changes have been made based on feedback from participants and judges and categories now include, flowers, vegetables, fruit, plants, preserves and cooking, plus flower arrangements, craftwork and specific childrens categories. Unlike many Shows, and to encourage participation, there is no charge for exhibitors or for spectators and the timetable for the Show is as follows:-

10.00 – 11.15am Setting up of exhibits (all exhibitors must leave by 11.30am)

11.30am Judging of exhibits commences

2.30pm Admission to the Village Hall for public viewing (light refreshments are available)

3.30pm Presentation of Awards

Programmes with Entry Forms are available from both Kensworth shops around the beginning of July. Entries are also accepted through our website.
